How much Zalgo does this add per character?
Exactly the number shown on the intensity slider, from 1 to 20 combining marks per non-space character. The default is 6 marks per character.
Can I add only top marks or only bottom marks?
Yes. Up, mid, and down mark pools are separate checkboxes, so you can mix them or use just one category.
Why are spaces not getting glitched?
Spaces are skipped on purpose. The generator only appends combining marks to non-whitespace characters.
Does "Remove Zalgo" clean every weird Unicode effect?
No. It strips combining-mark ranges commonly used for Zalgo text, but it does not normalize every unusual Unicode symbol or decorative character someone might paste.
Why do two generated results for the same text not look exactly the same?
The generator picks marks randomly from the enabled pools. The overall intensity stays the same, but the exact mark sequence changes from run to run.
