    Frequently Asked Questions

Can I give one option a better chance of winning?

Not with a separate weight control. This tool treats each non-blank line as one entry, so the only way to bias the result is to repeat an option on multiple lines.

Why does the spin button complain when I only entered one choice?

The picker will not run unless it has at least two parsed options. Blank lines are trimmed out first, so a list that looks longer can still collapse to one valid choice.

Can I run this like an elimination bracket?

Yes. After a winner is chosen, the Remove winner from list button deletes that exact winning option from the textarea so you can keep narrowing the field.

Does it save my choices or spin history after I refresh the page?

No. The options, current winner, and history live only in page memory. The recent history list is also capped at the latest 8 spins.

Is this drawing a real wheel graphic?

No. The effect is a timed highlight animation that cycles through the live option list, then lands on a randomly chosen index and marks that item as the winner.
